burnt down last January. The Anchor has already re-opened and is doing great. Our intent was to provide a venue that would allow the staff to reunite and come together with their patrons, the Anchor faithful. We are honored to say that the Anchor owners and staff are among our closest friends here in the Valley.
The Wilmington was awarded "Restaurant Neighbor of the Year" for Vermont in 2010. We won the award primarily for our work in hosting two fundraisers that raised more than $6,800 and served more than 150 patrons for the benefit of the Anchor restaurant, which

Chef Susannah and Sous Chef Stanton Nareau served nearly 1,000 portions of our homemade risotto cake topped with local braised highland beef short ribs. It was a great competition with Chopin taking top honors for "display", 2nd place for "taste" and the Hermitage winning 3rd place. In the end hundreds of the attendents casted their chip for Chef Susannah and the Wilmington.
