We require a one-night deposit for all room reservations.  If your reservation is for one night, then the deposit would be for the full cost of your stay.

Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your reservation 14 days or more prior to your check-in date for a full refund of your deposit minus a $15 per day cancellation fee.  If you cancel between 3 days and 14 days prior to the date of check-in, your deposit (minus the $15 per day cancellation fee) will be refunded in the form of a credit toward a future stay. If you cancel  2 days or less before check-in, you forfeit the full amount of your stay – we will charge the credit card on file for the remaining balance due on the room.

Room Occupancy
We do not offer cots or roll-away beds for any of our guest rooms.  Additional occupancy in any room above 2 guests (or 4 in the Apple Hill room) must be requested in advance and will cost an additional $10 per night per person.  We reserve the right to deny any request for additional occupancy for any reason.

We no longer accept pets, no matter how well-behaved yours is.  We started with a liberal pet policy and unfortunately had a few pet owners who took advantage and caused significant damage to the inn.

We love em!  Not everyone does.  However, since we make the rules and we have a child ourselves, we are happy to accommodate families, but we require advance notice and may ask our parent guests for additional discretion when we are very well occupied. Please note that if your child(ren) stay in the room with you and you exceed the regular room occupancy, you will be charged an additional $10 per person, per night for each person above the occupancy for that room.  Children 12 months or older, please.

Food & Beverage
We are a fully licensed restaurant and bar.  You are welcome to drink your own alcohol in your guest room, but Vermont law prohibits the consumption of your personal alcohol in the restaurant, bar, and other common areas since it’s a licensed establishment.

We reserve the right to deny a reservation request for any reason but especially if we feel it might impact our other guest's comfort.  The above policies, and any others not listed on this website, are subject to change at any time.
