We host a number of cyclists every week in the summer.  There is no better way to see the countryside and the beauty of Southern Vermont than on a bicycle.  Additionally, Mount Snow offers serious downhill off-road biking trails from their ski trails all summer.  Rent a bike and have it here when you arrive for $25/day.
Kayak in Deerfield River and take it all the way to Harriman Reservoir which is only 2 miles from the inn.  Harriman Reservoir is 14 miles long and is bounded by numerous state parks and boat launches. Additionally, there are abundant small lakes in the National Park that are perfect kayak spots for those looking to fish or just for solitude.

Rent a paddleboard or a kayak for $50/day (single) + $10 (double)
Fly fishing in the Deerfield River is one of the local's favorite pastimes.  There are numerous small lakes and rivers in the Valley and an Orvis store just up the road if you're looking for a lesson or a guide.
